Gratitude for Every Reader Who Shared in Spreading This Story
When I published Hope is My Anchor on January 25, I truly had no idea what to expect. I never expected to reach a heartfelt milestone like this. I had a story that lived deep in my heart. It was rooted in my family’s past, woven with faith, resilience, and the hope of something better. It was a deeply personal journey to write, and an even more vulnerable step to share it with the world.

And now, just under three months later, I’ve hit a milestone I’m celebrating with gratitude: 100 copies sold.
For some, that number might feel small. But for a first-time, self-published author, it’s a big deal. Many books never reach 100 readers. The fact that 100 people have picked up Hope is My Anchor, spent time with these characters (my family!), and entered into my story…it means the world to me.
I’m still learning as I go — how to market, how to reach more readers, how to keep sharing this book with those who need its message. But this milestone reminds me that progress doesn’t always come in leaps. Sometimes, it comes one faithful step at a time.
To everyone who has supported this journey — whether by buying the book, sharing it with a friend, writing a review, or simply cheering me on — thank you.
And if you’ve read Hope is My Anchor, I’d love to know: What part of Manny’s journey stayed with you?
Your words, your feedback, and your encouragement are what fuel this next chapter.
With love and gratitude,
Anna Broome
